No one wants to be sick and hand santizers go a long way in helping us to stay well in cases where we can’t wash our hands. Also hand washing is very important and keeping your hands away from your face.
Yep I know that is not easy, your face itches and you don’t even think about it. We just automatically scratch our faces and even rub our eyes. That is why cleaning your hands is oh so important!

Well don’t worry it is so simple to make that you won’t believe it! You do have to make sure that you are using rubbing alcohol that is 90% or higher. That is very important because many of them out there are only 70%
HOW TO MAKE HAND SANITIZER
Simply combine the following ingredients and shake well in a bottle:
- 1/3 cup of aloe vera gel
- 2/3 cup rubbing alcohol that is 91% or higher
- 5 drops essential oil for fragrance
Simply add some vitamin E if you want something that softens your hands.
FIVE STEPS TO WASH YOUR HANDS ACCORDING TO THE CDC
- Wet your hands with clean, running water (warm or cold), turn off the tap, and apply soap.
- Lather your hands by rubbing them together with the soap. Lather the backs of your hands, between your fingers, and under your nails.
- Scrub your hands for at least 20 seconds. Need a timer? Hum the “Happy Birthday” song from beginning to end twice.
- Rinse your hands well under clean, running water.
- Dry your hands using a clean towel or air dry them.
